Timothy J. Nast joined the firm as a full-time attorney in 2011 after clerking with the firm since 2008. He earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College in 2007, where he majored in Classics and Philosophy.  In 2010, he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law. 

 

Since 2011, Tim has been active in all of the firm’s areas of practice. He has handled a wide variety of matters in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Tim is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of New York, New Jersey,  Connecticut, and Rhode Island as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  From 2015 to present, Tim has been named in the Connecticut Super Lawyers magazine as a rising star in the field of transportation and maritime law.  In 2018, he received the same distinction in the New York Super Lawyers magazine.

 

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maritime Law Association of the United States, the Connecticut Maritime Association, and the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association.

 

In his spare time, Tim enjoys baseball, golf, and fishing in Long Island Sound. He resides in Stamford, Connecticut with his wife and family.
