Lauren Cozzolino Davies joined the firm as an associate in 2005. Lauren is admitted to practice before the State of Connecticut and the federal courts of New York and Connecticut. She is an active member of the Maritime Law Association, the Federal Bar Council, the Connecticut Maritime Association, American Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. Since joining the firm, Lauren has been involved in various commercial maritime cases and arbitrations including charter disputes, cargo claims, collisions, groundings, pollution, limitation of liability and personal injury. Further, Lauren has gained considerable in-court experience and honed her oral advocacy skills in the federal courts by way of her role in the firm’s Rule B admiralty practice.

Lauren graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law where she contributed articles on environmental and maritime issues to the national reporter of the National Sea Grant Law Center. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Environmental Studies and the History and Sociology of Science with an honors concentration in Biomedical ethics.

Lauren is an avid sailor and enjoys one-design racing and offshore cruising. She resides in Fairfield with her husband Ben and their son, Grayson.
