Claurisse A. Campanale-Orozco joined Tisdale Law Offices in 2007 after relocating to Connecticut with her family in 2004 and brings to the firm broad experience in federal practice and arbitration. Claurisse graduated from Boston University in 1988 with a degree in International Relations. She received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Thomas Cooley Law School of Michigan State University. Upon graduation from law school, she joined Ernst & Young LLP in New York practicing in the area of state and local tax. In 1997, Claurisse pursued her LL.M. degree in Admiralty Law at Tulane University, graduating with distinction in 1998. Thereafter, she joined Waesche, Sheinbaum & O’Regan, a New York maritime firm, where her practice focused on commercial cargo loss and damage and personal injury claims. In 2005, Claurisse was an associate at Saxe, Doernberge & Vita, P.C. in Hamden, CT, practicing in the area of insurance coverage litigation. Claurisse is admitted to New York and Connecticut State Courts, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut and Southern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and is a member of the New York State and Connecticut Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and the Maritime Law Association of the United States. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Claurisse resides in Hamden, Connecticut with her husband Juan and their children, Eric and Ava.
